In 2001, American Debt Resources, Inc. (ADR) was formed as a 501c3 non profit organization by career professionals within the Credit Counseling Industry to fulfill its mission of providing education and counseling services to consumers wishing to improve their understanding of personal finances. Since that time we have expanded our services and scope to align ourselves with changes in the economy.
Our staff of certified housing and credit counselors teach and prepare consumers with the necessary tools to resolve financial hardships and create balance within their finances. Our credit counseling programs cover pre-purchase, post purchase, foreclosure prevention, reverse mortgage, and debt management plans(DMP).
We have formed relationships with the nation’s largest banks and financial institutions allowing us to advocate on behalf of our clients and achieve the highest level of success.
American Debt Resources, Inc is an accredited Credit Counseling agency under the British Standard Institution’s(BSI) ISO 9001:2015 code of standards. BSI is the world’s first national standards body, and a founding member of the International Organization for Standardization(ISO), BSI facilitated and published the first commercial standards to address quality management systems.
The ISO standards are based on continuous improvement. Therefore, even after a company receives its certificate, quality audits continue. Following our initial assessment, we are visited once every 12 months to ensure the quality system is being maintained, improved, and corrected as needed. ADR, has taken the appropriate steps to implement and maintain a well documented quality management system that insures consistency and the constant improvement of our working practices.
